ar-Rabb (The Lord)

ar-Rabb (The Lord)

On the authority of ‘Amr Ibn ‘Abasah (may Allaah be pleased with him), the Prophet (may Allaah raise his rank and grant him peace) said:
“The time when ar-Rabb is closest to the servant is deep in the last part of the night. So if you are able to be amongst those who remember Allaah at that time, then do so.”

Abu Umamah [may Allah be pleased with him] said:
`Amr bin `Abasah reported to me that he heard the Prophet (Peace and blessing of Allaah be upon him) say: “The closest that the Lord is to a worshipper is during the last part of the night, so if you are able to be of those who remember Allah in that hour, then do so.”
